An Image of the New Windows 8 – Set To Be Released Soon
The next generation of Windows is coming. Some people have said that a Windows 8 based PC is almost like a new kind of device. A demo of the upcoming operating system showed a few of the new features. The start screen looks like it will be tile based much like Microsoft’s start menu on their mobile OS(operating software) on a few of their mobile devices.
The start menu will be customizable, assuming that users can change the color, size and position of the tiles. The tiles will have notifications keeping users up to date similar to the notifications on Windows Phone 7. The snap feature introduced in Windows 7 will also be included. I’m thinking that Microsoft will add different features and settings to allow users to better multitask. The new OS will also feature fully touch-optimized web browsing which I think is really cool, every time I install windows on a machine I have remove Internet Explorer because I find it annoying.
I am a very big fan of Google’s Chrome web browser and it would be interesting to see if the new touch feature of the new Windows web browser, along with other new features and better performance, would change my opinion about Internet Explorer. I am very excited to see an updated Windows operating software but will it be able to compete with Mac? Many people have preferred Mac over Windows in the past few years.

Definitely prefer Mac over windows and I never use Internet explorer it’s too buggy and always ends up with issues. I stick to Mozilla firefox or Google Chrome on Windows or Opera or Safari on MAC.
I really wish there were more artciles like this on the web.
