September 11, 2001: A Day of Tragedy

On September 11, facts that must never be forgotten.  At 8.46 am the first plane hit, American Airline flight with 92 passengers hit the North Towers. It was unimaginable and unexpected, people saw it and were unsure of what was happening. At 9:03 am another plane United Airlines flight 175 with 65 passengers hit the South Towers between the 70th and the 84th floor. Three hundred (300) people died instantly from the collisions and many more were injured.

At 9:35 another plane, flight 93 deviated from it assigned path and headed towards the nation’s capital in Washington D.C. The passengers of that flight heard about the attacks on the Towers via phone calls they made when they realized their plane was taken hostage. As a group they decided to try and take the hostage  takers and that plane fell before it could reach its target and everyone on that flight died. The passengers of Flight 93 were deemed the FIRST WARRIORS on the fight against terror.
