The U.S . Women soccer team pulled off a dramatic win over Brazil (5-3) on penalties in one of the most exciting games at the 2011 Women’s world cup in Germany. After trailing (2-1) and it seemed as if Brazil was about to pull it off , Abby Wambach delivered a goal from an unstoppable header to kill the Brazilians aspiration of moving to the semi-finals.
I must say congrats to the team especially Hope Solo, who made some excellent saves in the match and the ultimate one in the penalty shoot-out, that allowed the team to advance to the semi-finals
