A preview of the new iphones
Many of the rumors that have been floating around about the highly anticipated iPhone 5 are about the physical appearance of the new device. It will be slimmer and the screen will be larger than the iPhone 4. It will be getting an 8 MP camera which will be much better than the iPhone 4’s 5MP camera. The screen of the new device might be around 3.9″ diagonaly, removing the two skinny black bars on each side and creating an edge to edge screen. A lot of iPhone 4 users have fallen behind in terms of speed because they were stuck on ATT’s 3G network but the iPhone 5 is expected to have 4G capability as well as Apple’s new A5 dual core processor. To me the biggest rumor would be that T-mobile and Sprint users might also be able to use the iPhone 5 without waiting for a jailbreak to be released but that is still just a rumor. Many are saying that the new device’s release date will be sometime in September because that was about the same time the iPhone 4 was released last year. The iPhone 5 should come with a new operating software, like the iPhone 4 and iOS4, which will probably be called iOS5.Prices are expected to be same(8Gb $199, 16Gb $299 with a 2 year contract).There has also been talk of an iPhone 4S but I haven’t been able to find any other than that. I highly doubt that Apple will release a faster iPhone 4 just a few months before they release their iPhone 5 but you never know.
