
With obesity on the rise sports is a very good form of exercise, it also promotes healthy fun so it must be good. It is known that children who participate in sports do better in school than their counter parts. It also teaches goal setting skills as it pertains to life. It helps children not to smoke ( Are you surprised) and for girls they are less likely to get osteoporosis and breast cancer. Sports also boost self confidence (Do you need some) and kids if you want to make friends in school sports is the way. Sports believe it or not cut stress it also improves your mood, sports create a bond between friends.
So parents get your kids involved in some type of sports. If you are weary health wise check your doctor before engaging in any type of sports.
Remember sports is health, friends and lots of fun.
