It is said it is better to give than to receive. This society teaches its citizens that money is power, in order to live a fulfilling life one must work hard and achieve monetary reward. But money is not everything. Many may say that only people with no money will say money isn’t everything, but giving can be rewarding in its own way. I’m not saying don’t work hard and earn money all I’m saying is don’t love money and things more than you love people. If you need help in a situation where there are no people around money cannot help you. The other day I was watching an episode of the amazing race and you are correct these people are racing for money, but in one part a team had no money in a country where they do not speak the language and because of their friendly nature toward those they met and their willingness to help other they succeeded, they overcame. This happened twice on the race and they had the ultimate prize in the end. Give and it will come back to you not only money but give of yourself too.

This is the whole point of life and the lesson that we all have to learn. Love is all there is and unfortunately there are some whose love of the material things of this world far outweigh that of the love of another fellow living being. Hence the reason we have so much turmoil in all facet of lives around the world. Eventually though we will all get there because that is what we all search for deep down in our souls. It just takes us all different times to get there as we all have our different pace of realisation, learning and acceptance. THe world will change for the better.
