Kidzdorm wants to express its condolences to the residents of the six states that were affected by the Tornado disaster this week. The residents of Georgia, Kentucky,Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama were certainly not expecting such a disaster when they were told  about tornadoes in the area. It is decidedly one of the worst natural disaster that has ever occurred in the United States. Over 100 reports of tornado sighting this week in those specific regions.

Over 250 persons were reported to have been killed. I know that the Federal Government and FEMA team responded as quickly as was possible and that the President himself put in an appearance. Some may question why he should  bother to go since there is nothing he could do. But his presence will go a far way to boost  morale of those who were impacted. With his presence the residents of those 6 states know that he is personally involve in and is looking out for their best interest.

For those residents in the 6 affected states that were unharmed, reach out a helping hand to your neighbors in their time of need. Try in any way that is possible to provide even bottled water to the Red Cross or to someone you know who was affected.

The rest of the us will  keep them in our prayers.  If you feel the need to send donations, please communicate with  Red Cross or your local FEMA office to ask for directions.
